2015 Summary
Pandora has announced another successful year in 2015. CEO Anders Colding Friis and CFO Peter
Vekslund held a conference call to break down the 2015 earnings, focusing on the breakdown of the
fourth quarter. The overall 2015 revenue was $2,498,619.20 USD, an increase of 40.2%. There were
several factors that played into the growth increase including:
The success of new products
Launched 7 new markets
Pandora expanded by adding 392 concept stores
Gross margin increased 2.4%
Net profit increased by 18.6%
Increase in ring revenue by 87% in all regions
4th Quarter Summary
Vekslund explained during the 4th earnings quarter, all regions experienced exponential growth. Revenue
from rings, necklaces and earrings increased while charms and bracelets experienced a decrease.
Future Financial Summary
In 2016, Pandora expects revenue to exced $2,836,456,040.00 USD. According to Friis, current stores
will create one third of the revenue and the expansion of new stores will create two thirds of the revenue.
Pandora will focus on like-for-like1 growth in stores.
