What is the statue of the liberty?

The statue of the liberty is a colossal and neoclassic sculpture
located on liberty island in the borough of Staten island, New York,
United states.
It is a gift from France to celebrate the first century of united
states freedom, The statue is an icon of freedom of the United
States: a welcoming signal to immigrants arriving from abroad. The
statue is made of cooper and is green by the oxidation.
