Look through the various marketing tools available to build exposure in Figure
10.2. Suppose you are the marketing director for a minor league baseball team. If
you only have the budget for two of the marketing tools, which two would you
use? Why?
Hint: Your answers will vary depending on the team evaluated. If it is a relatively new
or unknown brand, tools that can create exposure efficiently like media advertising
or public relations should be used. If the brand is more established, a marketer
would have greater latitude in selecting tools to create exposure.
