employees to think independently and critically, develop lifelong learning habits,
acquire career skills, embrace diversity and become productive citizens in the
regional and global community.
As you reflect on this HL 440 course and the work you did in this course,
do you feel you were challenged to engage NMU mission-central learning?
Please respond:
I do feel as though I was challenged to engage in the NMU mission-central learning.
This course challenged me to decipher all sides of an argument and truly attempt to
understand them at their most basic and complex levels. This skill will help me in
my life outside of NMU to better critically analyze the choices I make and the votes I
have for society. It will also guide me in working toward compromise and hopefully
lead to a more functional and better political system.
