Reflection

1. What goals do you have?

My short term goal is to get knowledge so that I can implement this knowledge into my
profession. My long term goal is to become good ECE. I want to develop my carrier as a
successful ECE and want to work in a reputed childcare. I want to work with infants and
want to put my efforts for their benefits.
2. What are my weaknesses?
My weakness is, I cannot say no to anybody. Whenever, somebody asks me for help, then
I always say yes, because no word is not in my dictionary. I know that it is good to help
others, but it is not always good because sometimes we are busy and have to say no
because it misbalances our schedule. Sometimes, I have my works pending, and I also
have to do help the person who comes to me and asks for help. And I say yes because I
cannot say no. I want to change this habit and want to learn to say no
3. How do I engage with the children in learning process?
I engage with the children in learning process through interactions, observations etc. for
example I can come to know about childrens interests through observations and can
make activities according to their interests. I will also engage them in active learning. I
will also ask questions to myself. For example, if children did not like the activity then I
can ask questions to myself that why children did not like my activity and what should I
do to make that activity interesting so that they can enjoy it.
