Has a
degree from a medical school and
has completed residency. Is able to
make diagnosis. They're main job
within the facility is to analyze
images and make a dianosis. They
spend most of their time in a dark
room and spend little time with
patients.

Radiologist

A technician will typically have a

two year degree aquired at a trade
school or community college. They
may have some one the job
training. They are the ones in
charge of operating machinery and
getting readable images to the
radiologist. They have the most
dirrect patient care.

Technician

A rad nurse can have a variety of degrees,

ranging from a CNA to being a nurse
practitoner (I don't really feel like they belong
bellow tech, but they're role is a supporting
one, so I put them beneath). They place IVs,
bring the patient to and from the facility and
may do a variety of aftercare after a procedure.
Is really there to support the radiologist. A lot
of patient care. A medical assistant is a
certificate program and the assistant will
typically do admitting and some patient history.
A medical assistant also includes secretaries,
who are in charge of schedualling and provide a
communications pathway betwen doctors and
patients.
