Dear Nursing Recruitment,

As a recent RN-BSN graduate from Azusa Pacific University, Im highly interested in the new
opening as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Loma Linda University Medical
Center. My experience includes strong academic background; BLANK hours of preceptorship in
BLANK unit, years of management experience, and strong communication and customer service
skills.
As noted on my resume, I have I obtained excellent nursing skills in my recent preceptorship at
BLANK unit at BLANK hospital. During this preceptorship I was able to develop the ability to
think quickly and critically while managing my preceptors patients. My role was to administer
medications, communicate with the intensivist and healthcare specialist, charting, and
implementing care based upon clinical presentation. (WILL TALK ABOUT SPECIFICS AS I
ENTER MY PRECEPTORSHIP).
In addition to my nursing skills, I have developed leadership skills and excellent customer
service skills from previous job experiences. Leadership skills will allow me to be a great
advocate for my patients. Having excellent customer service and communication skills will allow
me to provide excellent service to my patients and family members.
