To Whom It May Concern,

Ms. Bethany Rasely was a practicum student for the University of

Alabama, during the fall semester of 2014. I was her supervisor from
the University. She was placed in a third grade classroom in the
Tuscaloosa City School System. I was able to observe two of her
lessons in this placement, and we met to discuss her progress. She
did a great job of working with all of the students. Ms. Rasely worked
hard to plan lessons, prepare activities, and create units to meet the
needs of the students. Her lessons were well planned, creative, and
motivational to the students. She was well organized and efficient with
her planning and instruction. She is proficient with technology and
included these experiences for students in her lessons. Ms. Rasely
used current educational practices in order to provide the best possible
learning experience for her students
The management procedures used by Ms. Rasely were fair and
consistent. She maintained an orderly classroom with a positive
learning environment. She was aware of student behavior and
implemented a management system. The children responded well to
her instruction and teaching methods. She made it her goal to keep all
students engaged, on task, and making progress to meet the lessons
objectives.
Ms. Rasely has a positive personality and shows true dedication for
the teaching profession. She completed her teaching responsibilities
with confidence. It is evident that she has natural teacher qualities as
she works with students. She understands the dedication needed in the
classroom and displays incredible energy in the classroom. She had a
positive influence on all students. She was very aware of the students'
strengths and weaknesses. She took time to assist students that
needed one on one instructional time. She completed all of her
required instructional goals during the placement and then was willing
to go beyond her required assignments to provide enriching
experiences for all students. I was very impressed with her maturity
and abilities in the classroom.
