Result

In this experiment, we are experimenting about the cascade circuit, which

function fully with air pressure without connect to electric. Firstly, we connect the
pneumatic circuit and switch on the pressure to test the function of the connection.
From what we observed, the cylinder is working. Then, followed by connect the
electric circuit. In connecting the electric circuit, we need to be very careful and
we must have basic knowledge about the electric circuit. We tested each
connection that we did. After the connection is checked, we proceed to the next
connection. When we connect the S1(switch 1) to the buzzer,H1, we found out
the buzzer is working by giving out Beep which mean that we completed the
first circuit. Then, we moved to the second connection. The second connection is
connected to S2(switch 2) and is connected to 2S1(limit switch) which is the
connected to K1 (coil 1) and then to ground. Then following by the K1
(connector). Followed by the 1S1(limit switch) that connected directly to K2 (coil
2). Afterward, we further connect the 1S2 (limit switch) and 2S2(limit switch) to
K3 (coil 3) and to the ground. After we connected all the limit switches to coils,
we try to trigger the faulty by observing the indicating light on the switch box.
Then, we further our connection of K1(connector 1) to 1Y(Directional Control
Valve, DCV), K2 (connector 2) to 2Y1 (DCV) and lastly K3 (connector 3) to
2Y2. Upon completed circuit, we test the circuit by press on the S1 to end the
buzzer beep, then followed by pressing the S2. We observed that, when pressed
S2, cylinder 1A is ejected out and touched 1S1(limit switch 1A) and followed by
ejection of cylinder 2A which touched 2S1(limit switch 2A) and then 1S1(limit
switch 1B) is touched by the cylinder A which cylinder retracted back and then
lead the cylinder B to touch 2S2(limit switch 2B) and retracted back. We can
conclude the result of the operation of this experiment is A+,B+,B-,A-. As we
pressed the switch, the system was keep going which we can relate that our
experiment is the same system that is applying in the conveyer part of machines in
industrial.
