Bollywood Night:
On March 28th I went to Ostrander Auditorium for the Impact event: Bollywood
Night. I went to embrace the Indian culture with henna tattoos, Indian music,
Indian food, and spices.
Reflection:
I saw the flyer for this event and thought it would be a really cool and
interesting event to attend. I have never attended the cultural events on campus
before but now I wish I did. Bollywood Night was fun and a good learning
experience. Not only did I get to experience the culture but I got to meet many
students that are from Indian. I love the idea of cultures coming together to
celebrate one and just having a good time. Through this event I developed more of
my global citizenship competency because I interacted with people of the Indian
culture and am more familiar with their cultural differences and similarities.
