Women's Pelvic Floor Workshop

Saturday, April 23rd 12:30-2:30pm at Santosha Yoga

Peeing is no laughing matter! Going when you giggle, muscle spasms
of the lower abdomen, even constipation are often signs of weak or
inflexible pelvic muscles. 25% of all women face pelvic floor disorders,
and the numbers increase with age. When the PF is too tight, it can
pull the sacrum out of alignment bringing it forward, into the bowl of
the pelvis. Learn proper alignment for correct movement to achieve
balance and tone in this important support area.
Join Janci Butler, RYT-200, Restorative Exercise Specialists and Nina
Pitzel, RYPT-500, Restorative Exercise Specialists in this upcoming
workshop as you learn:

About the pelvis and its relationship to the rest of the body

Methods to balance strength & tone between gluteal and pelvic floor
muscles

Proper breathing and relaxation techniques to correctly engage the

pelvic floor muscles

To analyze habits that misalign the body

About Kegels, are they right for you?
