About HealthWay
HealthWay is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies
in Pittsburgh providing customers with full walk-in or drivethrough pharmcy services as well as beauty, healthcare and
hygiene products in its retail stores. HealthWay offers mail
delivery services for prescriptions to Pennsylvania residents as well as health insurance plans to 345 organizations
and companies in the area. HealthWay assists their customers with the greatest care and attention and continues to
raise health care awareness to the public through community outreach and health education programs.

Mission Statement

HealthWay provides accessible pharmaceutical services for

clients in Pennsylvania. From everyday consumers to large
corporations, we strive to give affordable health insurance
plans and benefits. We will continue to raise public awareness of health care through community outreach and education programs to pave a way to a healthier city.

HealthWay Education program

HealthWay will partner with the University of Pittsburgh

Medical Center to reach out to communities in urban development areas in Pennsylvania. One of HeathWays goal is to
promote a healthy lifestyle educating low-income housing
communities. With this partnership, HealthWay and the
University of Pittsburgh Medical Center will offer programs
in local community centers that will focus on various information sessions that will discuss:
Healthy eating during a busy schedule
Exercise sessions
Q&A with the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center
Healthy eating for kids

Services

Prescription Services by mail: Through an order by mail,

phone, fax, or email, Pennsylvania residents will recieve their
medications by mail.
"Ask Your Pharmacist" : This 24-hour online service provides customers access to medical or health related questions from certified pharmacists.

HealthWay Expansion
HealthWay will provide its prescription services to the Pennsylvania
Employees Association (PSEA), which has more than 1 million state
employee members. As a result, HealthWays mail-in service will double. In order to maintain its quality of record keeping, HealthWay will
move its entire prescription facility to Pittsburgh. This facility will be
used for its shipping department to carry out bulk shipping.
HeathWay's continual growth in mail-meds has resulted in an increase in staff. The new facility will atleast 40 new job opportunities
in non-health-related categories as well as licensed pharmacists and
pharmacy technitions.
