Objective
Research has shown that the percentage of people
majoring in STEM majors have continued to drop in the
United States, we were instructed to create a board game
that will influence elementary, middle school, and high
school students to show more interest in STEM
professions

Deciding on a solution
During the brainstorming part of the project we came up
with different ideas
Were goal was to create a product that would be hand on
but also be fun so it would influence students to STEM
profession
We were able to come up with 4 solutions but we were
only able to choose one

Alternative Solution 1

Alternative Solution 1 contd

The objective of the game is to create a robot through
answering question. With a group of 4 or more individuals
you each take turns rolling the dice. If you land on a
discipline on the boar you pick a question card and if you
answer it correctly you get points towards a part. Each part
represents a discipline and once you get 50 points you get a
part. At the end once you have collected all the parts you
can now build the robot

Alternative solution 2

Alternative Solution 2 contd

It has the same objective as Alternative Solution 1 but
instead of having 7 separate stacks of cards we have one
stack
As you go round the board getting questions rights you
gain points
You can obtain parts on the Pick a Part space
There is also a timer if you don't finish the game in 90
minute you lose the game.

Alternative Solution 3

Alternative Solution 3 contd

Alternative solution 3 is exactly the same as Alternative
solution 1 but a timer is included and is set based on age
Elementary students-2 hours
Middle school students-2 hours
High school students-1 hours
