LOCATION RECCE
LOCATION
Park bench, The Wirral
LOCATION ADDRESS
The Wirral, New Brighton.
TYPE OF BUILDING/STRUCTURE/LANDSCAPE
A public old park bench with trees in the background.

WHY IS THIS LOCATION SUITABLE FOR YOUR PROJECT?

As it is outside and has a little bit of green on the trees the location is suitable because there is very
minimal amount of colours due to the full background being green grass and the trees, so the model
will stand out in his outfit. Also, with gaps of the tree which allow the sky to beam through, the
audience will be able to see the dull grey sky which makes the picture have more of a dark and
moody image onto it.

TOP 3 RISKS IDENTIFIED ON LOCATION

(N.B. this does not replace the Risk Assessment form which must be carried out for any practical project)

Trees falling onto model.

Wind blowing leaves from the floor into models face.
The bench could possibly collapse, as it is old and weak.

Describe the aesthetics of the location (e.g. Describe the potential camera shots or describe the
acoustic value of the location)

An old bench about 5 paces in front of a cluster of trees blocking the houses behind them. The shot
will have near enough the same space on each side of the bench to keep the photo equal. The
model will be in the middle of the bench. To let the audience understand that he is sat on a brown,
old bench. Also, the colour of the bench (brown) would add to the nature sort of look, allowing the
audience to see that it is in like a park or some kind of outside facility. Also, a little bit of the path
may be seen nearer to the bottom of the shot. This could occur because the models feet would be
on the path and I need to show the full outfit in the photo. So Ill have to angle the shot perfectly to
fit in the whole bench, model and have a decent amount of space for the trees and grass to be
seen.
