3. What is the article about? Explain in about 50 words.
In the beginning, the author told about his experience and he feel
embarrassed about laughing. Its that reason to describe about laughter.
Laughter is a universal human expression and there can be no doubt that
laughter is an inborn characteristic. Laugh is different with the smile. While
the smile expressing affection and appeasement, the laugh is different with
the smile. Another advantage that we can get from laughter is healing power.
That means some certain diseases can be healed by laughing. Finally, in the
end of article, the author explains his reaction cases discussed in Provines
book.
4. What do you like about this article? Why?
I like this article because it gave me information about origin of laughing and
about why men have more sense of humor than women.
5. What do you not like or find confusing about the article? Why?
I think I confusing about why the author couldnt keep himself from laughing
at that moment. The author cannot describe more information about why his
can lose control over this expression.
6. Do you Agree or disagree with the message/ the writers opinion(s) in
the article?
I agree with the message/ the writers opinion that laughter has a healing
power. I think is true because many doctor has use laughter to some
therapists medicine.
