K: Hey, Nylia, what would you mix to obtain white?

N: Umm..Im pretty sure that you need to mix anything to get white.
K: Fine, then what would you get if you mixed all the colours?
N: Some colour that looks muddy?
K: Nylia, actually youre perception is wrong and let me prove my point before I hear
your judgement.
K: See,heres a piece of cardboard and a paper divided into 7 for seven
colours,according to the rainbow.
N: And they are, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet right?
K: Yes, and now im gonna paste this paper onto the cardboard and then thread the
string through the two holes like this.
K: When I spin it, behold.
N: White! all the colours together!I I
K: Speechless? I made this experiment to show you that your perception of the
mixing of colours is not applicable to light. White light is made up of all the colours.
All the colours form white light when the wheel spins to the right speed. Its actually
an illusion when your eyes cant keep up with the rapid rate of the spinning wheel.
