As the principal of Cyprus High, Ihave had the opportunity to both meet with and observe Bonnie on several occasions. I have had the privilege of seeing a science teacher that makes a difference in the lives of students at Cyprus High. Bonnie Roach is already a successful educator. She clearly is prepared and already uses many strategies that even veteran teachers often struggle with. Bonnie has the interest of kids on her mind. I have observed that she reaches many kids who have very little interest in school. She is fair and consistent in her teaching. She communicates well and knows her curriculum. In addition, she is open-minded and willing to do whatever it takes to better herself as a teacher. I recommend Bonnie Roach. She cares about students and she cares about other educators. She has an understanding of good practice and a vision of success in a secondary school. She will make a difference. If given the option, I will keep her on my staff in a heartbeat!
