Although I have not known Dominique for long, she has quickly impressed me with her intelligence, active involvement in school activities, and attitude. ‘One trait that stands out about Dominique is her academic intelligence. This year, she chose to accept the challenge of enrolling in AP Literature. In our class students are required to read, interpret, analyze, and write about several complex pieces of literature including: All the King's Men, Demian, Their Eyes Were Watching God, The Catcher in the Rye, Macbeth, and 1984. Dominique has consistently shown a strong ability to critically consider these texts. Although she is not the most vocal student, she stays engaged in the discussions and showcases her perspective through her writing assignments. In this area, she continues to expand and develop the breadth of her analysis, which proves her willingness to grow and improve. Tn the future, Dominique will be ready to face the inereasing challenges of her academic journey [Another important trait that stands out about Dominique is her active involvement in extra-curricular activities, Along with taking a challenging academic schedule, while maintaining a strong 4.0 grade point average, she has been a member of the Sanger High School Girl's Badminton Team. This varsity sport requires dedication, commitment, and effort, She has also remained active in the Junior Volunteer Program at Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno. In the past, she has also found time to volunteer at The Cat House on the Kings. Dominique's varying interests and activities convey the diversity of her character and strong ability to effectively manage her time.
