Dishtv (formerly known as Dish TV India Limited) is a division of Zee Network Enterprise (Essel Group Venture).
EGV has national and global presence with business interests in media programming, broadcasting & distribution,
speciality packaging and entertainment. Zee Network incorporated dishtv to modernize TV viewing. dishtv is India's
first direct to home (DTH) entertainment service.
The group's principal activity is to provide Television Content Distribution via DTH. The Group operates through four
business segments namely DTH, Subscriber Management Services, Teleport services, Trading. The DTH segment
provides subscription renewal and lease rentals, placement and active services. The Trading segment is into trading in
electronics and other equipments. Subscriber management services segment providing conditional access services,
customer support services and related activities. The Teleport services segment facilitates to uplink signals.
