My name is Sierra LeBeau, and I am a senior at Sanger High. I have played volleyball at Sanger High since freshman year and would like to continue. I will be graduating as a valedictorian and have achieved the honor of summa cum laude. I hope to continue this success in my future education. My goals are to be pleased with the paths I will take. I hope to have a family and a job I am passionate about. I have received an academic and volleyball scholarship to Fresno Pacific University. I will major in kinesiology because I would like to be a physical therapist. In order to achieve these goals, I will have to work hard to improve my skills in volleyball and continue to get good grades. Throughout my high school years I have proven my hard work whether its in sports, school, or in the community. This will benefit me in my future. I play volleyball year round for Sanger High and for Pac Pre Volleyball Academy. I work hard on the court as I always strive to get better. This has benefitted me because I have been offered a position playing volleyball at an NCAA college. Being on a team has taught me to be there for other people and to not give up on myself or others. It has taught me how to work well with other people and how to be a leader and role model to others. My hard work in school is demonstrated in my achievements. I am involved in CSF, Interact, and Student Government. Being involved in these clubs has taught me how to be leader. It has also opened my eyes to the community and the many different ways to be successful after high school. In 2013, I became a member of my church, Community, in North Fresno. This journey has taught me to be caring and accepting to all different kinds of people. Also in 2014, I shadowed a physical therapist at Sierra Pacific Orthopedic Center. By doing this I learned a lot about being a Physical Therapist, which will benefit me as I take on the job in my future.
