I am very interested in a nursing position at Dixie Regional Medical Center. I strive to achieve excellence
in all that I do, and I have demonstrated this time and again during my academic training and
professional life, both as a nurse and in every other position I have held. I currently work as a registered
nurse with troubled youth who have histories of behavioral and/or substance abuse problems. I have
been able to overcome with ease and confidence the challenges this challenging demographic has
frequently presented, while providing excellent nursing care.
During my educational experience at Dixie State University, I demonstrated high academic achievement
and superior clinical performance. This was noted by one of my instructors, Vicky ONeil, N.P., who
nominated me for the Bamberger Foundation Nursing Scholarship. I was one of a select few in my class
to receive this prestigious nursing student award. Overall, I have a love of learning that will allow me to
adapt to the frequent advancements made in nursing science and patient care.
I am confident in my ability to excel as a part of the excellent healthcare team at Intermountain. In
addition to the current relevant nursing experience and scholastic excellence I have demonstrated, I
have outstanding letters of reference from my previous employer, clinical preceptor, and a Dixie State
