‘To Whom It May Concem: My name is Dominique Tinoco, and I am a senior at Sanger High School. Through my ‘years at Sanger High, I've enjoyed every minute however I am enthusiastic and sanguine about my future after graduation, I look forward to pursuing my education and career in the medical field. My goal is to become a cardiothoracic surgeon. I plan to attend the University of California, San Diego and major in Physiology and Neuroscience. After I earn my Bachelor of Science Degree, I would then like to get accepted into UC San Diego School of Medicine. After my graduation of medical school, I would like to complete my residency in the state of Washington. Then hopefully obtain medical licensure, get board certified and become a cardiothoracic surgeon. Throughout my high school career | have shown myself to be responsible and passionate, Tve also developed my communication skills. I believe these qualities will assist me to become a capable cardiothoracic surgeon. I have been active in a few clubs such as French club, the Spanish club, the LGBQT club and the American Red Cross club. Furthermore, I’ve been active in badminton. Both of these extracurricular activities have enabled me to further develop my ability to work well with others. Additionally, I have volunteered in various places, which exemplify my passion to help others. I'm currently. volunteering at a hospital, Saint Agnes Medical Center, which is giving me the experience I need for in my career.
