Guide ERP
This is the portion of the Emergency Response plan that any guides
or staff members would be held accountable for, in the case of an
emergency in the field.
Step One: Identify severity of Emergency and administer first aid
as needed
Step Two: If Evacuation or outside assistance is necessary; contact
Company owner and inform them of the situation.
Step three: Proceed to closed extraction point by which ever
means proves most practical.
Step Four: If vehicle available for transport, proceed to hospital.
Wait for EMS pick up if no other transport is available.
Step Five: Review trip and prepare legal and or other logs.

Managers ERP
This is the portion of the Emergency Response plan which outlines
the actions the management team should take in the event of an
emergency occurring on trip.
Step 1: Gather as much information as possible about the
emergency from the guides initial contact and provide support as
needed (provide logistics)
Step 2: Inform other staff of the situation and delegate tasks i.e.
driving out early to pick up the trip or gathering relevant medical
history information.
Step 3: Contact and notify relevant organizations (park
management, ems, etc.)
Step 4: If media becomes involved assume role as media contact
point.
Step 5: Remind all staff involved to make detailed entries into their
log books
