VANG, I.D. #206072 1. Yonah Vang has been a cadet in the Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) Unit at Sanger High School since the beginning of his sophomore year in August 2013. Yonah has excelled in NJROTC to the extent that he has worked his way up to the top cadet leadership position of Drill Team Commander. He is a natural leader, having mastered each and every position of authority and responsibility available to him in the NJROTC hierarchy. Throughout his tenure in NJROTC, he has enthusiastically and proudly represented the unit to the public, actively participating in the many school and community service events. Yonah has always been very patriotic, and always impeccably dressed, proudly showing off his NJROTC uniform. Although he is involved in many other activities, he remains very devoted and loyal to NJROTC. 2. As a 23-year veteran of military service and the Sanger High School Senior Naval Science Instructor, it has been my sincere honor to work with Yonah. He is @ senior student in my Naval Science 4 class and is currently maintaining a steady grade of A+ with an overall numerical GPA of 4.0. Yonah is a very impressive, and focused young man that sets realistic, attainable goals for himself. After high school, he plans to attend California State University Fresno to study Sociology.
