BRITISH GURKHAS SELECTION CRITERIA

FOR 2016/17
Education: Minimum SLC 3rd Div or its equivalent. For those sitting
Nepal SLC from 2016 onwards, Minimum 3 x C and 2 x D grades.
Must have C grade in Maths and English.
Age: Between 17 -21 yrs on 01 January 2017.
Chest: Minimum 79cm. Height: Minimum 158cm.
Weight: Minimum 50Kg.
Glasses/ Contact Lenses: No glasses/ contact lenses.
Teeth: Not more than 4 faults (fillings, gaps or false teeth).
Passport: Must be in possession of valid Machine Readable
Passport (MRP) to register.
