WHAT IS UGC NET

It is a national level test , conducted to test the intellectual knowledge of the

Candidate in Research & Assistant Professorship field.

CBSE conducts NET in 83 subjects at 88 selected NET Examination Cities spread

across the country.

This exam is the of Indian Nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or
Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian
Universities and colleges.
