A look at the repairs into 5 bridges along the Gloucestershire to Warwickshire railway.

About this event

John Sreeves FICE is an associate director, bridge engineering with CH2M Hill (formerly Halcrow Group Ltd).
The project involved the rehabilitation of ve bridges that had seen little or no maintenance since closure of the
railway in 1976. Four of the bridges required extensive steelwork repairs due to corrosion and vehicle impact
damage.
The railway plans to reopen a two miles extension to passenger services from Laverton to Broadway in 2018.
