To whom it may concern,
This letter is in reference to Desiree Hartzell. I was Desiree’s clinical instructor at USF for her
critical care rotation. Although I only taught her for one semester, she impressed me by consistently
performing her designated tasks in an efficient and meticulous manner, while establishing a relationship
of respect with both nurses and patients. She was eager to leam, and conscientious about keeping safety at
the forefront when approaching situations with which she was unfamiliar. Her written work was
‘exemplary, both articulate and thorough. Another notable strength was her ability to apply knowledge she
had acquired through her didactic classes into clinical situations,
Desiree is an empathetic advocate for her patients, while retaining a strong sense of realism. She
has a calm and comforting demeanor that both inspires trust and prevents escalation in volatile situations.
am confident that she will be a valuable addition to your staff. Thank you for considering her
application. If [can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate fo contact me.
