PharmEng prepared a basis of design that aligned with the

expectations of the Government of Canada, the Bill & Melinda
Gates Foundation, and the Canadian HIV Vaccine Initiative. The
proposal included plans for a pilot scale HIV vaccine
manufacturing facility in Canada for clinical trial lots.
A conceptual GMP compliant design was also developed
containing manufacturing areas on the first floor, with offices,
utilities and laboratories on the second floor. This conceptual
design would connect to the existing Stiller Centre for Technology
Commercialization as well as potential future buildings.
