‘To Whom It May Concern:
Itis a pleasure to recommend Mr. Chris Reisinger for a secondary teaching position
within your school district. I have worked directly with Chris for a number of months as
his student teacher supervisor. As his supervisor, I have regularly observed and
collaborated with Chris and therefore feel qualified to comment on his many strengths.
Chris has been student teaching at Northwest Middle School, which serves a diverse
population of students, many of whom are language learners and struggling readers. Chris
is committed to providing rigorous instruction for all of his students, and he artfully
supports her struggling leamers as they tackle the challenges of the Common Core State
Standards.
Chris understands the different learning styles of his students and has demonstrated
creative methodologies in his lessons that promote critical thinking and analysis in
students. He uses appropriate teaching methods to fit his curriculum goals that engage
her students in whatever task is at hand. Chris has thorough knowledge of the English
curriculum, but he is also sure to make that knowledge accessible to his students,
Charis consistently implements the scaffolding strategies necessary to support strugeling
readers and language learners and is extremely skilled in this area
Chris is very dependable as a teacher. He regularly attends both team meetings and
faculty meetings at Northwest, and he consistently collaborates with her site teacher and
other faculty in the language arts department.
Chris will be an asset to any faculty. He has the potential and ability to be an outstanding
teacher. I am confident that Chris Reisinger will make an excellent educator.
Sincerely,
