Tenor Pascal Charbonneau studied at McGill University, followed by advanced studies at the

Guidlhall School of Music in London and the Atelier Lyrique de Lyrique de l'Opra de Montral.

His recent engagements include Castor in Castor et Pollux (Opra de Dijon and Opra de
Lille), David in David and Jonathas (Festival dAix-en-Provence Opra Comique and Brooklyn
Academy of Music) and Acis in Acis et Galate (Teatro La Fenice and Festival dAix-en-Provence)
and Aljeja in From the House of the Dead (Opra National du Rhin). At the Thatre du Chatelet, he
sings the roles of Medoro in Orlando Paladino, Jack in Into the Woods, Freddy in My Fair Lady,
and finally, Tobias in Sweeney Todd, a role which he reprised with the Bayerische Rundfunk
Orchester and more recently, with Vancouver Opera.

His recent concert engagements include Mozart's Mass in C minor and Bach's Stabat Mater
with the Orchestre de chambre de Paris; Lenfance du Christ, Handel's Messiah, Mozart's Requiem
and Jeanne dArc au Bcher with the MSO; Le Jardin des Voix with les Arts Florissants, Bach's
mass in b minor with Tafelmusik, Orff's Carmina Burana (Orchestre Metropolitain) and Handel's
Messiah with the Portland Baroque Orchestra. His future engagements include a recital of french
mlodie with the Socit d'Art Vocal de Montral as well as Aljeja in From the House of the Dead
with the Royal Opera House and La Monnaie.
