I am currently studying in the second year of my Bachelor

of Education (Primary). As a part of this, I am specialising
in working with children with Special Needs, something
that I am very passionate about.
I have previously studied related courses through
Challenger Institute of Technology, including Certificate III
in Childrens Services and Certificate III and IV in
Education Support. Due to this, I have had previous
experience working in Early Learning Centres,
Government primary schools and Secondary Education
Support Centres.
I am also very passionate about incorporating more
Service-Learning opportunities into education and working
with students in remote areas. Because of this, I chose to
study Service-Learning units as my electives.
My hobbies and interests include competitive swimming,
cycling, reading mystery novels and volunteering at the
drop-in centre for the homeless and struggling families
with the Salvation Army.
On completion of my degree, I wish to gain experience
working in schools in low-socio economic areas, rural
communities and special needs schools or Education
Support Centres.
