REPORT

As times go on, I have learnt several things which I will further mention in my
report.
Firstly, I have leant about what the DEVELOPMENT LENGTH is all about.
Development length is nothing but overlapping length which is used to
overlap one bar over another depending upon the various following formulas
which are further depending upon the grade of concrete. They are as

Secondly, I have learnt about BILL OF QUANTITY in which we talk about

1) Specification
2) Unit
3) Ratio
4) Quantity
5) Rate
In this we found quantity, unit, final rate, final amount of- Excavation in
foundation, Filling in foundation, Laying of cement concrete(1:4:8) in
foundation, Providing and laying cement concrete (1:2:4)in parapet, coping
etc.
Thirdly, we get to know about what is include in TENDER. Tender rate
includes each and everything unless specified i.e.
1) Cost of Transportation
2) Loading, unloading, storing, stacking

3) Earthwork including clearing of shrubs, roots, vegetation from site etc and
support with wooden posts etc.
