STUDENT'S COMMENTS: Looking back from the week I started at KizKomer, I have learned quite a lot in a small amount of time. I appreciate the staff because each and everyone have been there for me as much as possible, When I had questions, someone did their best to answer to me. I enjoyed discussing about my reports every week with Janice, the child life specialist. Our discussions have helped me reflect on the reason why I want to start a career in the Recreational Therapy profession. I also enjoyed the daily guidance provided by the CTRS Daryn, They have helped me survive the tougher days, Working with the children has given me a sense of gratefulness because I was able to contribute to their well being at the facility for the time being an inten. Overall I am grateful 1 hhad the opportunity to receive this training and I would like to thank everyone who contributed to my experience at KidzKomer. AGENCY SUPERVISOR'S COMMENTS: It’s been a pleasure to have Sarrah as an intern at Kidz Komer. She showed great improvement ‘throughout her stay. As she grew more accustomed to interacting with the population we serve, her creativity began to take shape and present itself, She was responsible for planning and leading an activity at one point during her time here, so she took it upon herself to give the residents a “spa day” where the staff helped her give to residents massages and use water to provide sensory stimulation. Sarrah was a great asset to the team, and cooperated very well with us. IF there is one thing she can work on, it is just being a little bit more on top of the content and nature of her assignments. It should not go without saying however, that she showed professionalism in getting all of her assignments and tasks done.
