Reading: Genesis 2: 27-28 (FCRC)

27

God created mankind in his own image; in the image of God he created them; male and

female, he created them. 28 God blessed them and Good said to them be fertile and multiply;
fill the earth and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and all
living things that crawl on the earth.
C)

Reflection:
When God created the world He made man. He made human beings to be like

him. Then from man He created woman. He told them to go forth and multiply. He gave then
dominion over all living things. He created them in His own image, He created them all good,
but eventually man sinned and fell from God. They had to be cast out of The Garden of Eden, a
place that God made to keep all the animals and the humans safe. Forced to live with the
consequences of what they had done. They had children, and eventually they sinned too. They
were never really saved from the weight of sin.
As children of God we sin, because of Adam and Eve we sin. We sin as soon as we are
born, we are born with the sin, but we are saved through Jesus. He died for our sins, as Christians
we try not to sin, we should try to live Godly lives.
D)

Prayer:
Lord help us to lead better lives. I know we are like Adam and Eve, we sin. We

want to be better Christians. We know that Jesus died for us, and I think thats why we really

dont ask for the forgiveness of our sins. We think that we are free of all sins because of Him.
Help us to realize the real reason Jesus saved us. Help us to remember that we need to be more
careful.
Amen.
