This is Ashish Srivastava , I have an Idea of developing DNA Database(Including
Biometric credentials) of Indian Citizens. It will help in controlling Various C
rimes like HumanTrafficking ,
Terrorist identification and almost all kind of serious Crimes.
I am just giving you an case scenario , how it will help in controlling crime in
effective and time saving manner.
In situation of serious crime , Police find some samples like hair,nails and was
ted time to send samples to Lab and get reports.
If police have updated database , thy can quickly identify victims/criminals and
can respond in minimum time.
In another scenario , if police can access database of DNA of Childs( beggar / l
abor , Normally these childs are victim of Child trafficking) eon the request of
missing complaint of
child by their parents , polica can identify and easily handover the child to pa
rents in lesser time .
This database will help to improve police response time.
