Notes on symbolisms in the painting

the outer green is the earth
then the boundaries of earth is symbolized with 3 lines (thrirekha)
The metallic brown and the seven color ring and the 64 petal lotus is the
zone where from the celestial radiance falls on the earth
Seven colors of sun
4 color lotus of MANJUSRI -the Buddhist god of knowledge
Then another boundary of physical knowledge and travel into mythical
space
Blue (darkness) symbolizes space
Eight bloom lotus signifies the cosmic zones of the directions
The small lotuses are the celestial bodies in those zones
Then the most subtle zones comes
The MAHAPADMATAVI (forest of elephants) engulfs the ocean of Honey
Then the KALPAVATIKA (Woods of desire) in the Manidweepa (Island of
gems)
In the centre is the RATNA CHINTHAMANI (gem of thought) which holds
the BIJA (seed) within itself
The Bija further has the Kalpavriksha into it
The eight Pomegranate motifs are the symbols of Prosperity. Pomegranate
is BIJAPOORAM (filled with seeds) representing unlimited and progeny
The celestial bliss with the cosmic combinations reaches the earth back
This is represented in the sun signs in the seven color aura zone

Then enters in to the earth and spreads - this is signified with the POORNA
KALASH in the earth zone - the flow of prosperity everywhere.
