GET NOTICED! Use

Feng Shui to
Improve Fame & Recognition
D

If you have a fireplace or stove in the

back center of your home, you have
introduced Fire to this important area.
In addition to being associated with
the Fire element, Fame and
Recognition is also represented by the
number 9 and the color red so
embellish this area with warm colors,
such as oranges and reds. Also,
incorporate triangles or pyramids,
which represent the Fire element in
shape.

O YOU WANT TO BECOME

FAMOUS?

Publish a book? Be
rewarded as an employee?
Then improve the Fame and
Recognition area in your home or
office using Feng Shui.

Feng Shui improves the energy and

balance of your environment. Feng
Shui, a classical Chinese
methodology dating back over
4,000 years, originated from simple
observations of people and their
surroundings: people were found to
be healthier and happier in wellbalanced environments. Use modern-day
Feng Shui to deflect harmful energies
and maximize the flow of positive energy.

Visualize Your Dreams

Focus on the Back Center

In your home or office there is a specific
energy area representing fame and
recognition, acclaim, and your reputation
or the way others perceive you. This is
the area of the Bagua (the road map of
your home according to Feng Shui)
situated in the back center of your home
or office or at 12 oclock. If, for example,
you are an actor, writer or artist and
want to become known for your craft,
focus on this area.

Recognition Personal & Professional

If you are a business person, this area
relates to your reputation at work, as
well as public relations, word of mouth
advertising and the marketing of you and
your company. In your personal life, you
may be recognized as a parent, a friend
or a volunteer. In this way, the Fame and
Recognition area impacts how you are
viewed and appreciated by others.
Although you might know you are good
at what you do, there is no substitute for
receiving a special thank you, which
equates to recognition.

Add Fire for Excitement

How can you improve Fame and
Recognition in your environment? Apply

Fire to your home or office when you

want to add excitement and movement.
Everything in nature the environment,
buildings, furniture, humans is
composed of a combination of five
elements: Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and
Metal. Of all elements, Fire is the most
expansive, intense and active. It delivers
an abundance of energy and movement
and can help you become more active,
better known and more powerful.
Without Fire a space feels cold and dull.

Fire Doesnt always Mix

Fire, however, is a tricky element as it
burns Wood, fights Water and melts
Metal so use it carefully. For example, use
less Fire in a kitchen where fire elements
already exist in your oven or stove. Also
avoid Fire in a bathroom because of its
overabundance of water.
Avoid locating Water in your Fame and
Recognition area. Referring back to the
five elements, Fire is extinguished by
Water and therefore water features can
damage your reputation and name.
Practically speaking, avoid locating water
fountains, aquariums or water scenes in
these rooms.

Hang pictures of what you want to

happen in the Fame and Recognition
area. If you dream of owning a home in
Tuscany, surround yourself with the soft
red hues of a Tuscan landscape to
effectively harness the power of Fire.
For example, a client chose pictures of
Balinese dancers to embellish this special
area of the house. When her husbands
employment was suddenly terminated,
they received notice of an incredible travel
special. They ended up celebrating 40
years of work with three weeks in Bali!

Fire People
Although as a human you possess all five
elements, some are stronger in you than
others. Thats why you have a different
character, wants and desires. A fire
person will mostly act like fire quickly
looking forward for new ideas, much like
a wildfire spreading quickly and easily.
Fire people are instigators, creators,
dreamers, and the life of the party and
are often easily distracted by their next,
great idea.
If you have a lot of fire in you, you may
be especially rejuvenated by sitting in the
Fame and Recognition area of a home or
office space. Place your favorite seat there
and soak up the energy that is most
appropriate to you!

Tashas Story
A Case of Veterinary
Acupuncture

asha had to be carried into the

waiting room. Her owners had

to carry her up and down the steps

at bedtime. She could not jump up on
the sofa or bed any longer. She had not
wagged her tail in over two years. This
beautiful eight-year old, white husky was
in a lot of discomfort and pain. When
assisted to stand, her legs were weak, her
tail hung down with little muscle tone
and her stifles trembled. On a good day
she could get around by hopping on
both hind legs at the same time.
My initial impression upon meeting
Tasha and her owners was that a very
special relationship existed. They wanted
to help her and she looked to them for
support and care. Sometimes, in my line
of work, the connection between people
and their pets is beyond that which can
be measured in a blood test or x-ray. On
our initial visit, I performed both a
Western (conventional) and Eastern
(Traditional Chinese Medicine) medical
examination. Tasha was in good physical
condition except for her back end. Her
heart and lungs sounded normal, eyes
clear and responsive, teeth and ears
clean, and her abdomen palpated within
normal range. She was very sensitive to
palpation of both stifles (knees) and had
muscle atrophy of the muscles surrounding the hips and upper thighs. She kept
her tail down and between her legs and
was very sensitive to manipulation.
A Traditional Chinese Medical
examination involves many variables,
including pulse and tongue diagnosis.
Additionally, palpation of the body along
specific meridians allows determination
of deficiency or excess conditions. For
example, the Bladder meridian runs
bilaterally along the dorsum of the body.
Certain areas along that meridian
correspond to the different body organs

66

internally. In Tashas case she

exhibited sensitivity at the
Liver, Kidney and Spleen Shu
points. Shu points are
specific point locations that
are associated with specific
internal organs. According to
Traditional Chinese Medicine,
these points indicate
problems in the functional
capacity of those organs.
Some of the functions of the
Liver are to store and
distribute blood, as well as,
controlling tendons and
ligaments. Kidney functions
include governing growth and
development and controlling bones. The
Spleen functions to control blood,
muscles and the four limbs.
Blood chemistries were taken at the first
visit and showed increased liver values.
Acupuncture treatments were given every
4-7 days. Two Chinese herbal formulas
were initiated: One to address the liver
in an attempt to detoxify and support its
function, the other to address the bones,
tendons and muscles supporting the hind
end. We began reducing her dose of
Rimadyl at this time.
By the second treatment, Tasha was
wagging her tail for the first time in two
years! Her facial expressions were not as
tight or stressful as previously noted. By
the fourth acupuncture treatment she
was doing very well and her owners were
extremely impressed. Tasha was now
much more active, was asking for food at
dinner time, wanted to play tug of war
and had jumped on the sofa for the first
time in two years. By this time all
previous medications were discontinued.
All of her conventional medications were
replaced with the appropriate formulas
with no side effects. At the sixth

treatment blood chemistries were taken

again. All liver values were within normal
limits. Tasha was now wagging her tail in
an upright position. At this time, it was
reasonable to increase the interval
between acupuncture treatments to three
weeks. She was becoming more mobile
and was gaining strength in her hind end
and knees. Tasha continued to do well.
She was running up the hills at
Brandywine Park and had to be chased
by her owners to keep up with her. She
is a happy, healthy dog once again. Her
owners make the decision for additional
acupuncture treatments based on her
clinical signs.
This story was written in 2001. Since that
time Tasha has lived an active and healthy life.
The times when she had incidental problems
such as a bladder infection or ear issue, she was
treated with holistic medicine and acupuncture.
None of Tashas original veterinarians thought
she would have lived so long. It only goes to
show just how important the pursuit of
alternative therapies in veterinary medicine are.
Tashas medical care for the next six years
involved various alternative treatments to meet
her health needs. Our special friend crossed the

rainbow bridge late in December, 2006.

impede the normal, healthy
electromagnetic flow of the
bodys acupuncture

creating symptomatology
that is difficult to trace back
to the original root cause by
conventional methods.
However, identifying an
interference field can now
be easily done using QRA.

IF

THERE WAS A WAY

YOUR BODY COULD

QUICKLY REPAIR A
DAMAGED ORGAN OR
REJUVENATE ITSELF AT AN
ACCELERATED RATE?

What if you could regain

peak mental and physical
performance in spite of
having been chronically ill
and fatigued for years?
Today, many scientists
believe the secrets of
regeneration and healing lie
within the bodys own
Quantum Energy Biofield.
The Light Eaters Nobel Prize
laureate Albert Szent-Gyorgyi once
said, We live by a small trickle of
electricity from the sun. The
miracle of photosynthesis transforms
the suns light frequencies into green
plants, trees, grasses and medicinal
herbs which when consumed,
releases nutrients and multiple light
frequencies into the human body. In
addition as humans, we directly
absorb light energies from the sun
into our bodies. In essence humans
are light eaters. Nourishment for the
Energy Biofield must accomplish two
tasks: First, it must allow
assimilation of the full spectrum of
this light bio-energy throughout the
body to compensate for the Energy
Biofield losses caused by
environmental toxicity and lifes
stresses. Second, it must couple the
light bio-energy with living nutrients
that are rapidly absorbed and

assimilated into the cells of our

bodies.
Assessment of the Energy Biofield
Is done through Bi-Digital O-Ring
Testing which is a tool for precisely
identifying the hierarchy of what is
taking place in the human body. The
advanced modification of O-Ring
Testing is called Quantum Reflex
Analysis (QRA). It was developed
after three decades of correlating
electrodermal biofeedback
measurements on acupoints,
kinesiological testing, assessment of
brain proprioceptive patterns and
advanced nutritional research. QRA
is reliable, reproducible, clinically
effective, and scientifically valid as it
is based on the known principles of
human physiology and quantum
cellular resonance.
The Interference Field is an area of
the body (small or large) that tests

Coherence of the Bodys

Energy Biofield is obtainable
through QRA because of its innate
connection to the whole being at
every level. It took centuries of
separating and reducing nature to the
limit of the quantum of action before
western science was to rediscover
that nothing in nature is separate.
Everything is at once both spread out
as a wave but also localized as a
particle.
Science with Love - Quantum
physics says the interconnection is
there all the time. Perhaps the reason
we can feel others joys and pains
with such immediacy is because we
are really entangled with our fellow
human beings and with all creatures
large and small. The self and other
are but aspects of one and the same.
That is why we need to have science
with love in order to thrive with all
there is in nature, that nature may
never cease to set our soul on fire.
