Canandaigua Academy Driver Education Course Outline

Mr. Mulheron, Mr. Oberst, Mr. Platten


You will be expected to participate in both the lecture and lab portion of the
class to achieve a successful outcome. You do not need to be an experienced
driver when you start but you will be given the opportunity to become a
more confident and knowledgeable driver upon completion of the course.
Required materials:
A notebook capable of holding loose leaf paper.
A writing utensil.
A NYS driver permit.

You will be expected to arrive at least 5 minutes before your driving


class begins, repeated lateness to class may result in removal from the
program.
You need to attend your lecture class and your driving class, you may
not switch classes without prior approval.
You are expected to bring your textbook copy to class everyday. Prentice
Hall, revised 10th ed.

You can expect 20-30 minutes of homework per night.


You can expect daily assessments of classwork and driving class.
