The Emory & Henry Mass Communications department


highlighted alumni and Mass Comm seniors in its annual Mass
Comm Weekend. Seniors displayed their portfolios and visited
with guests as the event began on Friday. Mass Communication
seniors make their own websites and build their portfolios
throughout their time as a student.

I think its really important with this department that


they do teach you a wide variety of things because its
very, very important in the job field.

The weekend included a chance for seniors to share their


internship experiences with underclassmen.

Its really important to have different kind of


communication skills, so graphic design, writing, video
editing, everything that we learn.

Alumni Fred George, Amanda Gray, Molly Luton, Logan Nester,


Haven Smith, and Evan Williamson comprised an alumni panel to
share their career tips and experiences in the workforce.

the alumni panel represented each of those fields and more.

Mass Communication professors encourage their students to


attend the Mass Comm Weekend to learn from seniors and alumni
and to make connections.

SOC
