Attendance/Lunch Count the Personnel Officer will take the lunch count

(Students may ask about going to computers but there are no computers this week due to testing.)
8:30 8:45

Students will silent read for 15 minutes. Have a students turn on the campfire light,
which they know means there is absolutely no talking.

8:45- 9:15 Science

Students have been conducting a research experiment using peeps and 6 different solvents. Have
students get their observation sheets and have 1 student from each table retrieve their tin pan. They have
done this multiple times already so they will understand. They will fill out Day 3, Final Observation, and on the
back the two bunnies that say I wonder and I discovered Tell students they must have the whole packet
filled out and their name on it and they will turn it in when they are finished. You can have them then leave the
pans back on the horseshoe table and I will take care of clean up tomorrow.

Recess

(students normally have recess later this day, but you are more than welcome to

take them outside around 10:10-10:15 and let them play until the 5 th grade teachers blow the whistle.)

The kids will be doing Volume of L-Blocks worksheet. They may work with a partner.

Please check this worksheet whole class when they are finished. Should they finish early, please give them the
Lesson 7.1 Skills Practice worksheet to work on.

Writing
The students will be writing letters back to their pen pals. They may get the letters from

their pen pals out of their folders. When they are finished, please have the kids put their letters in the white
basket.

PM Math Class
The students may work with a partner on the Rates and Ratios 2 packet. If they all

should finish, then please check the packet whole class. The answer key is at the back. If they finish early,
they may have a Cartesian Coordinate Plane to play Cartesian Battleship. They know how to play.
