A) Theme: Trusting God

B) Reading: Psalm 27: 1-3 (NABRE)

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear? The Lord is my lifes
refuse; of whom should I be afraid? When evildoers come at me to devour my flesh,
These my enemies and foes themselves stumble and fall. Though an army encamp
against me, my heart does not fear; Though war be waged against me, even then do I
trust.

C) Reflection:
If we believe in God, He will always be by our side. He will be our light when we feel
that all that exists is darkness. We must have faith that even in the toughest of times, and
even when all odds are against us, God will be there. We must not be afraid when we are
faced with a problem, because we know that God will guide us through it. He will
protect us, and be our salvation. In everything that we do, we must trust in God, and trust
that He will guide us to make good choices and decisions. We must follow and listen to
Him, knowing He is always watching over us. All we have to do to is believe.

D) Prayer

Heavenly father,
Watch over me in all that I do,
And help me to always trust you and realize that you are in control, not me.
Help me to trust you completely,
Help me to not be afraid,
Help me to make good choices,
Help me to do your will.
Thank you for always guiding me,
Thank you for helping me when I am struggling.
Thank you for allowing me to place my trust in you,
Thank you for always being there.
Amen
