1. Find the following words connected to city in the wordsearch:

2. Now divide the words into three different categories. a) places in a city, b)
parts of a city, and c) adjectives to describe a city
3. Write a paragraph about cities in your country. Include as many words from
sections b) and c) from exercise 2 as you can!
4. Play the Summer in the City Game!
For this game you need a dice and game board, some friends to play with and a teacher (who
has the answers and the tasks)! Every person should place a counter on the start box.
Whoever rolls the highest number goes first.
Instructions
1. Roll the dice. You can move a maximum of three spaces at a time. If you roll a 1 or 2,
move 1 space; if you roll a 3 or 4 move 2 spaces; if you roll a 5 or 6 move 3 spaces.
2. For each square you must complete a task. Your teacher will give you the tasks. You
must speak only in English to complete the task.
3. The first person to reach the finish box wins. Good luck!
