Myra Belle Shirley Reed Starr
Born February 5th, 1848 to John Shirley and Elizabeth
Pennington, near Carthage, Missouri.
Attended the Carthage Female Academy, was taught music
and languages
Wealthy Family, until the Civil War

Met Cole Younger, Joined the James-Younger Gang


Married Jim Reed, then Bruce Younger,
later married Sam Starr
Stole horses and cattle together,
bank robbing, and bootlegging whiskey

Out of all the crimes she committed, she was


only convicted of horse theft.
Died from two shot behind her during an ambush on
February 3rd, 1889 in Briartown, Oakland.
Became a inspiration for western movies
