Blended Families
Hi! My name is Loly. I am 8 years old. I live in Sutton, London, with my
family.
I am in 3rd grade. Ive got a brother, Tommy. Hes 3 years old.
My mother is Kate. She is a dentist. My father is Marc and he is a vet.
They are divorced.
Now, mum is married to Luke. He is a chemist and my father is married to
Betty. She is a teacher. They have got a baby girl. She is Lina. So, we have
got a little sister.
I live with my mum, Tommy and Luke, but some weekends I go to my dads
home. Tommy also comes with us. He plays with Lina all the time!
Sometimes, mum and Luke take Tommy and me to the park. Dad and Betty take Lina to the park
too. So, we meet there and we have fun.
Luke is not my dad, but I like him. Betty is not my mum, but I also like her. I like both. They are
good people. Lina is my half-sister and I love her so much!
I love my parents so much and they love Tommy and me so much.
Consequently, we are a big family!
At school, I have some friends like me. Amy, my best friend, has also got a half-brother, Jamie.
Nowadays, our families are different. We can have a step-father or a step-mother. We can have
half-sisters or half-brothers, but our parents will always be them: our parents.
They will always love us and we will always love them.
Actually, LOVE is the first!!
