This assignment has two parts. Both are due on -------------------- at the start of class.

You will be assigned a research question/topic about WWI from the list below in a lottery
in class. You will then examine a number of primary and secondary source documents. You will
read the evidence carefully to determine an answer to the research question.

Part 2:
On __________________ you will bring in your completed notes to class. You will then
meet with 3 other students, each who have different topics, and teach each other about your topic,
your criteria, and your key understandings. I will be assessing your conversations during this
