Depression in The Workplace: An economic cost analysis of depression-related


productivity loss attributable to job strain and bullying written by Wesley McTernan
et. al and published Work and Stress illustrates that the more high paced a job is,
the more overwhelmed employees may become. Overtime this can cause them to
become depressed. It showed that risk factors in the job place can cause job strain
or even bullying from following peers. This can cause major safety issues.
