Job Responsibilities :

Jobs under ministry of Health, Maldives (Government Service)

For Specialists: In Atoll/Regional Hospital and For Medical Officers: In Health Centre, Atoll/Regional Hospital.

Initial contract 1 year but renewable

Academic Qualifications :

MBBS

FCPS/ MCPS/ MS/ MD/M Phil/PG Diploma at least 02 years (For Specialists)

Specialists preferred in Internal Medicine/ General Surgery/ Gynecology/ Pediatrics/ Anesthesia

Experience Required :
At least 2.5 years after completion of Internship training.

Salary range :

Gross salary BDT 140000 250000 plus Overtime (Salary grading decided by Ministry according to experience after internship or
for specialist after obtaining post graduation degree)

Other Benefits :

Overtime will be counted if you work for more than 48 hours per week. It will be paid on hourly basis as per ministry rules. In normal
working day it will be 1.25% of basic salary per hour and in public holiday it will be 1.5% of basic salary per hour.
Festive bonus will be paid for Muslims in Ramadan (Amount fixed 3000 MVR for all in 2016)

Medical facilities will be provided only for employee

Beyond basic salary: Service Allowances, Accommodation and Food Allowances, Air Ticket, 1 month paid leave annually with full
basic salary, 30 days of sick leave & 10 days of emergency leave per year.
