Repeat the above experiment at the distances of X1, X2, X3 and X4 from the
leading edge.
a) Plot the measured BL thickness against X=50 mm, X1, X2, X3 and X4.
Also, plot both the theoretical laminar and turbulent BL thickness on the
same plot. Compare the measured BL thickness with the theoretical
laminar and turbulent BL thickness, discuss your observation. Is the BL
laminar or turbulent?
b) Make a plot at x=50mm with measured velocity in the abscissa (i.e.
horizontal scale) and distance from the flat plate y in the ordinate (i.e.
vertical scale). Also plot the laminar Blasius velocity solution given by the
similarity solution in Table 1 on the same plot, compare the two velocity
profiles. Repeat above with X=X1, X2, X3, and X4. (Total 5 velocity plots!)

c) Evaluate the displacement and momentum thickness

d) Comment on the accuracy of measurement and suggest other possible
improvements
e) Suggest improvements on the uniformity of the velocity of the air jet.
