A. Theme: Staying strong in faith

B. Reading: Psalm 95:1-5 NABRE

Come, let us sing joyfully to the Lord; cry out to the rock of our salvation. Let us come
before him with a song of praise, joyfully sing out our psalms. For the Lord is the great
God, the great king over all gods, Whose hand holds the depths of the earth; who owns
the tops of the mountains. The sea and dry land belong to God, who made them, formed
them by hand. (Psalm 95:1-5, NABRE)
C. Reflection:
Staying strong in faith is sometimes hard, especially as a teenager. We learn more about
our faith and ourselves every day. In a Catholic school, faith is strongly encouraged, but
away from the Catholic community, faith can be hard to practice. God is our creator who
loves us unconditionally with his abounding joy and love, but people still manage to turn
away from Him. God created us to be with Him and share in the wonderful world He
created. He created us in His image and likeness, to take care of creation. God gave us
life, and all the good things in it, so He deserves our love and praise. God is the most
powerful being in the universe, and He chose us to be His people. God is the truth and
love, so we should grow in our faith by trusting in Him.

D. Prayer:
Almighty God our Creator,
Let us love you as you love us,
Help us to revel in your love and mercy with all of creation.
Guide us on the journey that will lead us to you,
And keep us close to you.
For you, ever-loving God have given us our lives to praise you,
Given us all the good things in the life you have provided.
Thank you for giving us our lives,
Thank you for giving us the good people in our lives.
Almighty God we praise you for your great acts,
For only you can do them.
Let us praise you forever.
Amen.
